Habitat Lincoln's Blog

Take a look at the stories behind what makes Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln a builder of strength, stability, and shelter in our community.

One of our regular volunteers, Geralyn, shares what is like to be a woman on a Habitat for Humanity build site. In addition to volunteering in Lincoln, Geralyn has volunteered with Habitat's in Texas, Mississippi, and Wisconsin.

Josh joined Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln as executive director in October 2015. Josh earned a Master of Public Administration degree, with an emphasis in Nonprofit Management. He has served in a variety of management roles with nonprofit organizations, including the Kearney Area Children’s Museum, Child Advocacy Center in Lincoln, and American Cancer Society in Topeka, Kan. Josh and his wife, Alisha, have three children.

Sheila Green tells us about why Lincoln Modern Quilt Guild Partners with Habitat, and some of her favorite moments.
