Help Build Strength, Stability, Self-Reliance & Shelter

We've been building decent, affordable homes for 30 years in Lancaster County. Serving low-income individuals and families who would not otherwise be able to obtain a traditional bank loan, we provide the path to homeownership through a low-interest home loan. With more than 85 applicants applying for the homebuyer program last year – a 21 percent increase over the prior year - the need for affordable housing in the community far exceeds our current resources.

Through a comprehensive analysis of its organization, we have a new three-year strategic plan that maps out a more effective construction model, as well as taking on a home repair program that will serve existing low-income homeowners in the community. The strategic plan will take the organization step-by-step in serving more families in the community.

The transformation involves the need to build on multiple job sites per day, which will require us to update and invest in additional equipment. We need you, the business and construction community’s help – in locating and purchasing the required equipment to serve more families in need of shelter. Do you have extra equipment at your business? Getting ready to upgrade and can donate your old product? Or can you donate to help cover the cost of purchasing equipment?

if you can help donate or provide a discount to purchase any of the items listed below, please contact our operations director, Jeremy, at (402) 477-9184 or jtrujillo@lincolnhabitat.org
