Rock the Block

Rock the Block is an annual community event that brings volunteers together to revitalize neighborhoods and improve the homes of families in need. During this event, volunteers donate their time and skills to provide free minor home repairs, landscaping, yard maintenance, and beautification projects, all aimed at improving the quality of life for families in the community. It’s a fun and rewarding way to give back, meet new people, and make a tangible impact on the neighborhoods we serve.

Each year, Rock the Block provides an opportunity to strengthen local communities by helping homeowners who might not otherwise have the resources to make necessary repairs. Volunteers can participate in a wide range of projects, from cleaning and landscaping to more hands-on tasks like painting and minor repairs. The event is not just about building or fixing homes—it’s about creating lasting connections between neighbors, local organizations, and volunteers, all working together to create a safer, more beautiful place for everyone. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or new to Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln, Rock the Block is sure to be a fulfilling way to contribute to your community.
