Honoring the Life of Nancy J. Muehling
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Nancy J. Muehling, who served as Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln from 2000 until her retirement in 2015. Under Nancy’s leadership, our organization built more than 100 homes, empowering families and strengthening our community.
Nancy was a visionary leader, a tireless advocate for affordable housing, and a friend to so many. Her dedication to our mission left an enduring legacy—one that continues to impact the lives of families across Lincoln and Lancaster County.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to Nancy’s husband Eldon, her children and grandchildren, and all who knew and loved her. Our staff, volunteers, and board members are grateful for her unwavering commitment to Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln and the many lives she touched.
Thank you, Nancy, for your service, your heart, and your belief that everyone deserves a safe and decent place to call home. You will be deeply missed, but your legacy will live on in the homes and hope you helped build.
